Dr. David Lincoln specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders. He receives many referrals from chiropractors, physical therapists, MD’s, orthopedics, osteopaths, and surgeons because of his high success rate in treating many common conditions.
Dr. Lincoln was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. After graduating with highest honors from Cardinal Newman High School, he received his college education at UC Davis. Chiropractic Neurologists are able to successfully alleviate many common complaints/conditions such as acute and chronic pain, pinched nerves, numbness and tingling, arthritis, disc problems, headaches, vertigo, and more.
Dr. Nicole Strasko
Nicole Strasko was born and raised in the midwest state of Iowa. She graduated from Roland-Story High School. She continued on to play volleyball and basketball and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology at Central College, a pristine private school in Iowa. She found her love of chiropractic initially in Marietta, GA at Life University and there, she also found a new unexpected love for rugby. Throughout her 3 years at Life University, she was the first ever woman to to be named a Collegiate All-American and first ever to play for the USA national team.
From here, she took a year away from school to take the opportunity to train in a full-time environment with the USA Olympic team in Chula Vista, CA. After debuting in Dubai, and making appearance in Okinawa, Las Vegas, and Van Couver, she continued playing rugby and finishing school with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA. Throughout her high performance athletic experiences she has found a love for helping athletes prevent and recover from injury faster. She has personally experienced less injury and increased longevity as an elite athlete which is highly credited toward her chiropractic background and accessibility and believes all athletes of all ages deserve this right.
Recently she had the honor of finding ways to give back to her passions in life. She visited the island of Tonga to give, serve and love with free chiropractic care to their community. Through this experience she was able to help a man walk without his cane again, rid a young paralytic man of stomach pain and ‘leg’ pain, increase extremity (knees, arms, ankles) range of motion, increase sleep and decrease anxiety with a young boy with autism, decrease the shock-like sensations down a bed-ridden woman at her home, and increase the function and moods of children! Additionally, she has a certificate in Pregnancy technique called Webster technique.
In midst of her USA rugby training, she has realized what little money is available for the female rugger and has helped found a non-profit 501c3 charity called Women For Rugby to aid in equal opportunity for women in rugby from the Olympic level down to youth programs. She currently trains and plays with USA rugby to be a hopeful part of the World Cup team in 2022! She loves to serve the Santa Rosa Community here at Healthy Families Chiropractic!
Dr. Aaron Gootzeit
Dr. Aaron Gootzeit was born and raised in the New York City Metropolitan area. He graduated from Mount Vernon High school where he participated in a variety of extra-curricular activities. In addition to being part of the stage crew for the drama department, he also played several sports. Eventually, he focused on baseball and continued playing at Grambling State University. After his sophomore year, Dr. Gootzeit (Dr. G), transferred to Louisiana Tech University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Kinesiology. While at Louisiana Tech, he was introduced to rugby and the world of strength and conditioning/human performance. These quickly became his passions and led him down a new life path.
Dr. Gootzeit helped lead the Louisiana Tech University Rugby Club to their first league championship in over 10 years. He also pursued a career in strength and conditioning through the Louisiana Tech master’s program. He completed the M.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sport Performance, served as the graduate assistant for Health and Wellness, was the assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Baseball and Rugby teams, and served on several department’s sponsored research projects.
Alongside his graduate program, Dr. G earned an internship with Tiger Rugby, which is a USA Rugby Olympic Development Academy. They offer full time residency programs, national and regional identification camps, and other programming. Following his internship, he became the head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Tiger rugby. He took pride in preparing numerous elite rugby players for international and professional tryouts and sending others to high caliber collegiate programs. He even organized and ran the Clemson University rugby Strength and Conditioning program while also being their assistant coach.
Dr. G is always looking to serve his clientele to the highest capacity. He realized as a strength and conditioning coach that his athletes needed treatments and care modalities that were outside of his scope. Being the go-getter he is, he investigated ways to expand and solve this problem. This problem was solved when he was with Clemson Rugby at the Collegiate Rugby Championship tournament where he was introduced to Chiropractic. Within a month, he was enrolled and attending classes at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He was determined to maximize human potential and recovery in not only athletes, but all people.
While at Palmer College, Dr. G was the school’s rugby Strength and Conditioning coach, player, and a member of the Sports Chiropractic Club. During the clinical portion of his education, Dr. G was an intern in the rehab department. He was able to refine his skills in various corrective exercise and soft tissue modalities that helped patients avoid surgeries and get back to the activities they loved! He truly has found the best balance of preventative care, corrective care, rehabilitative care, and strength building with his athletic experience and newfound degree in Chiropractic!
Dr. G is excited to be a part of the HFC team and Santa Rosa community. He looks forward to serving the population here with his many talents and expertise. It gets him excited to help them to stay healthy, active, and engaged in the activities they enjoy!
